So what is there to know about me that isn't related to the flute?
Here are a few things. I have two little kids who make me smile everyday and they are my hugest blessings! I am from Salt Lake City, Utah so I love mountains and take a long trip out there every summer with my family of four. I have lived in lots of cool cities like San Francisco, Boulder, Portland, Kansas City, and now Chicago. I love to read and think and get all "philosophical" at around 11 pm every night. (Or so my husband says). I guess that makes me a night owl, which means I'm usually on the grumpy side in the morning. I like to bake, take walks (umm...to offset the baking), and want to start kayaking. Anyone want to teach me? I love all kinds of music, not just classical, but if I were to choose one composer/singer/songwriter to bring with me to a desert island it would be J.S. Bach, hands down!
